Material changes belong in a public record. Routine source refreshes and editorial corrections are logged separately so activity is not mistaken for error.
A material correction changes a factual claim, number, attribution, source interpretation or methodological description in a way that could affect a reader’s understanding. Each entry will identify the affected page, previous wording or method, corrected version, date and supporting source.
