Public Evidence Project currently operates as an independent civic research initiative. It is not represented as a registered charity, tax-exempt organization, government body, university program or grantmaking fund.
The project does not currently solicit tax-deductible donations. If its legal or tax status changes, this page will be updated before any new claim appears elsewhere.
02 / LEADERSHIP
No borrowed authority
No person is currently listed as founder, editor, reviewer or advisor while those roles remain under discussion. The project’s editorial desk is reachable at [email protected]; a named editor has not yet been published.
Institutional affiliations will be used for identification only and will not imply institutional endorsement unless an institution explicitly provides it.
03 / FUNDING
Funding must be legible too
No outside donor, sponsor or paid member is currently identified as funding the public pilot. The project is not conducting public fundraising.
Future material grants, sponsorships and in-kind support will be disclosed with the funder, amount or range, purpose and any editorial restrictions.
04 / COMMERCIAL WORK
Research and sales stay separated
The public site does not currently offer consulting services or represent cited researchers as supporting a commercial provider.
If related institutional briefings or advisory services are introduced later, the provider and relationship will be disclosed. Signatories and reviewers will not be presented as endorsing those services.
05 / CITED PEOPLE
Citation is not endorsement
Researchers and institutions may appear because their published work is relevant. That does not mean they reviewed Public Evidence, agreed with its interpretation or authorized use of a logo.
A person moves from “cited source” to “reviewer,” “contributor,” “signatory” or “advisor” only with explicit permission and a displayed scope.
06 / REPOSITORY
Hosting is not endorsement
The dataset has been submitted to Harvard Dataverse under DOI 10.7910/DVN/PDK5U4 and is currently under repository review.
Repository hosting, DOI registration and technical review do not imply Harvard affiliation, scientific endorsement or agreement with the project’s interpretation.
07 / CORRECTIONS
A record can be challenged
Corrections should identify the page, disputed field and a primary source supporting the change. Material corrections are dated in the public corrections log.
Privacy, analytics and email collection are covered separately in the privacy policy.
