Explore a dated snapshot of federal environmental comment periods by topic, agency and deadline. Every result links to the Federal Register notice; the official docket and controlling notice decide whether and how comments are accepted.
Source snapshot needs refresh. Last source sync: July 30, 2026. Snapshot age: 47 days. This page does not establish current availability. Check the official source for new, changed or extended dates.

A RECURRING PUBLIC-INTEREST UTILITY
Follow the decision before it closes.
Federal environmental actions change every working day. This watch displays a source snapshot; its sync date and freshness status are separate from page generation. An API date is not legal advice or proof that a docket is still accepting submissions.
The page excludes records without an explicit comments_close_on value. It does not infer deadlines from prose, and it does not submit comments for users.
PERMANENT TOPIC WATCHES
One source snapshot. Seven focused paths.
Each topic page has a stable URL, its own interpretation checklist and records from the dated snapshot. State pages are not generated until a state has enough records to support a useful index.
Rankings and annotations reflect the last source sync: deadline proximity, source change, document type, environmental action type, named geography and availability of a direct docket route. This is prioritization—not a finding about impact or importance.
No future dates remain in this snapshot. Check the source for current notices.
DATED FEDERAL RECORDS
Search notices in the snapshot
Sorted by the deadline supplied through FederalRegister.gov. Results are a discovery aid; always read the dates and submission instructions in the controlling notice.
0matching deadlines
Calendar labels use America/New_York. Verify the controlling notice, time zone and docket immediately before submitting a comment.
No matching date in this snapshot.
Try a broader topic or search term. Absence from this page does not establish that no public-comment opportunity exists.
BUILD YOUR ENVIRONMENT WATCH
Follow your state and one issue.
Tell us the state, role and environmental topic that matter to you. We collect preferences for future evidence alerts; submission does not make you or your group a public supporter.
METHOD AND LIMITS
What this watch includes
Federal Register Environment-section documents published in the preceding 180 days.
Only records with an API-supplied comments_close_on date on or after the sync date are included.
Generic information-collection notices are excluded; topic labels are deterministic keyword classifications.
The page displays the 120 nearest deadlines when more qualifying records are available.
Action labels, review audiences, next checks and priority reasons are generated by published deterministic rules; they do not summarize unseen document text.
Daily change flags compare the current displayed watch with the prior stored snapshot.
FederalRegister.gov metadata is a discovery layer. The controlling notice and official docket must be checked before commenting.
